Jada Swanson

Jada Swanson serves as a Staffing and Coaching Associate in the Senior Leadership Division at Slingshot. For over 20 years, she worked in the local church in various pastoral roles, including Worship, Discipleship, and Senior Leadership. Her ministry journey is comprised of church planting, church restarts, and executive leadership in a multi-site megachurch, all in the greater Seattle area. Following a long tenure in pastoral ministry, Jada transitioned into the world of fundraising in Higher Ed., where she has served in the areas of donor relations & stewardship, advancement operations, and planned giving. In this current season, she is the Executive Director of Advancement, Planned & Major Gifts at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL.

Jada is passionate about helping churches and faith-based organizations accomplish their mission as they seek to expand God’s Kingdom. She naturally combines her love for fostering authentic connections with her strategic gifts and organizational strengths to match churches with candidates who possess the skills and gifts they need.

Jada considers herself to be a lifelong learner. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance, a Certificate in Fundraising Management (CFRM) from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and will soon complete a Doctorate in Worship Studies. She and her husband, Jon, along with their two college-aged kids and black lab, Jewel, live in Central Florida.
